Citibank is taking luxury travel to the next level with new perks for Prestige Card members

Citi Prestige Credit Cardholders are eligible for deluxe dining options, golf driving ranges, travel insurance and a limited supply of coupons for Shin Kong Mitsukoshi (新光三越百貨) valued at NT$18,000 each.

As the COVID-19 pandemic eases, Citibank Taiwan Ltd (台灣花旗) has unveiled benefit packages for travelers using Citi Prestige, the bank announced in a press release last Friday.

Cardholders can dine with a plus one at no extra charge at Citibank partner establishments, including Sheraton Grand Hotel Taipei’s (台北喜來登大飯店) Kitchen 12, Guest House, The Dragon, Pizza Pub, Antoine Room, Sukhothai, and Momoyama; and My Humble House and Latest Recipe at Le Meridien Taipei (台北寒舍艾美酒店), among others.

Card users are also entitled to 750 free golf balls with the purchase of the same amount at six partner driving ranges across the country. These perks and many more will be available to cardholders starting in the fall and into the final months of next year.

Citi Prestige offers premium rewards, fine dining, luxury hotels, hassle-free travel and a personalized concierge to its select clientele. To make rewards more available to cardholders, six credits will be awarded for every NT$30 spent on an international or domestic purchase, an award equivalent to one mile miles for every NT$15 spent.

For international travel, Citi Prestige cardholders can enjoy eight free rides to and from airports per year, exchangeable individually for domestic high-speed or regular rail tickets, in addition to two hours of chauffeured service.

Cardholders can also get 30 days of free parking in five-day increments per year at international airports.

In addition, Prestige Card members are entitled to a complimentary fourth night’s accommodation at any hotel in the world and 24-hour Citi Prestige concierge service.

To ensure the travel security of Citi Prestige cardholders, the bank offers its members public transport travel insurance up to NT$50 million and trip cancellation insurance up to NT$10 million, and travel medical insurance up to NT$300,000 .

This year, to mark the eighth anniversary of the Citi Prestige program, the bank is introducing the biggest bonuses for new accounts, starting on the day of the announcement and ending on October 31st.

New customers who have accumulated 100,000 in spend in regular transactions and paid all fees within 60 days of account opening qualify for a limited offer of 800 Shin Kong Mitsukoshi vouchers valued at NT$18,000 each.

Meanwhile, eligible members who did not receive a voucher would receive 15,000 bonus credits instead.

In addition, Citigold members are eligible for 30,000 credits in Citi ThankYou Rewards.
