ART AU PETIT MONDE: Artist and barista Beatrice Weisner-Chianese is featured with some of her works on display at 254 Nassau Street until June 7.
Small World Coffee is showing the art of two of its employees through June 7.
Barista Beatrice Weisner-Chianese exhibits at 254 Nassau Street and the works of former barista and current social media manager Jacqui Alexander are exhibited at 14 Witherspoon Street.
Wiesner-Chianese is a self-taught artist who uses photography, paint and paper quilling as mediums. Her art draws inspiration from the world around her as she attempts to capture a variety of colors, textures and anomalous perspectives.
‘UNDER THE SYCAMORE’: This painting by Jacqui Alexander is featured in her exhibition at Small World Coffee, 14 Witherspoon Street, through June 7.
She is a shift manager at Small World Coffee and said she appreciates the Small World and Princeton community, all of whom are very supportive of her artistic journey.
A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Alexander’s paintings are inspired by her love of the natural world, motherhood, and her own personal language of iconography.
In addition to being a former barista and currently managing Small World’s social media, Alexander works for local design firm Howard Design Group and sits on the board of the Princeton Arts Council.
