Pokemon GO makes music with Ed Sheeran at special in-game collaboration event

Catching Pokémon in the wild and training your beloved friends isn’t all Pokémon GO is. In Niantic and The Pokémon Company’s latest update to the incredibly popular AR mobile game, players can look forward to a different kind of collaboration event in the form of a musical celebration with the award-winning artist at Grammy Awards Ed Sheeran.

Pokemon GO will not only feature Pokemon fan Ed Sheeran in-game with a special performance, but trainers will also be able to experience the release of his new album “=” (Equal) like never before. A pre-recorded performance video is available. via the game, allowing everyone to enjoy Sheeran’s latest tracks and greatest hits in an intimate and incredibly unique setting.

The video will debut in Pokemon GO on November 22 and will be on view until November 30, which will highlight hits such as “Thinking Out Loud”, “Shivers”, “Perfect”, “First Times”, “Bad Habits “, and” Graffiti of the viaduct “.

To boost the festivities of the event, Trainers can use a special code (just follow the instructions on The official Niantic event page) to tag an exclusive in-game avatar item. This also includes Ed Sheeran’s “=” album art, which you can check out more on the collaboration blog.
