The Citywide Arts Festival continues on September 18 with live performances, art demonstrations and more

MANCHESTER, NH – Hanover Street was an open-air arts market on Saturday, drawing hundreds of people to meet and greet local artists, view their work and shop, as the street was closed to traffic between Chestnut and Elm.

It was day one of the two-day street festival, part of the Manchester Citywide Arts Festival, which produced a week of public activity involving a range of artists, craftspeople, musicians and photographers.

The video above is just a small window into the event, which continues on Sunday, September 18 and will include on-site food trucks.

FREE – The Arts Festival will end with a free, family-friendly street fair located in the Hanover St. Opera Block (between Elm St. and Chestnut St.). The fair will include an art market featuring dozens of local artists, artisans and artisans, interactive art installations and experiences, live performances by local musicians and dancers, food trucks and events in all partner locations in the city.

    *FREE professional sessions will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days, register on the art festival webpage two weeks before the event. Set available for personal photos at any other time.
