There is no better honeymoon destination than Miami. The city offers sunshine all year round and beautiful beaches. There is a lively nightclub and bar scene, tons of culture, and expansive spas for much-needed relaxation. It’s such a popular bachelorette party destination that many hotels and restaurants offer packages designed for groups of women looking for a good time.
With so much to choose from, it can be difficult to know where to start. To help you out, we’ve reached out to Cyndi Cramblett, Founder of Bachelorette Party Miami. She gave us suggestions of where to stay, what to do and where to eat and drink with your girlfriends in Miami.
Meet the expert
Cyndi Cramblett is the founder of Bachelorette Party in Miami, a company that organizes bachelorette parties in Miami, Puerto Rico and Cuba.
If you’re heading to Miami for your final adventure, you’ll want to pack your bags appropriately. Much of Miami’s social life revolves around the beach and pools, so don’t forget your swimsuits (and your hat and sunscreen!). At night people dress up, so pack those summer dresses and heels to be part of the trendy crowd. And remember, the city is hot all year round, so dress accordingly (but also bring a sweater for the nightly ocean breezes).
Miami is hot and sunny year round. While July and August are the cheapest months to visit and less crowded, the heat and humidity can be oppressive (which could mean more time at the pool!).
“The average group travels to Miami for four days, three nights and spends $ 350 per person on their activities when booking with Bachelorette Party Miami,” Cramblett explains. “This amount gives the group a wide range of activities to make their weekend fun filled.”

Why you’ll love Miami
“Almost any bride can find something magical and memorable to do in Miami,” admits Cramblett. “Whether she’s a laid back spiritual woman for a party animal, she and her friends are going to have a blast.” Because Miami has such diverse activities, there is something for everyone.
- Beaches. Miami offers beautiful beaches on the Atlantic Ocean.
- Night life. A playground for the rich and famous, Miami has a vibrant nightlife scene.
Where to stay in Miami
Cramblett suggests South Beach as the perfect neighborhood to stay in because of its proximity to all the restaurants and bars and the ocean. There is no bad choice between a hotel and an Airbnb. While a hotel will give you a more social vibe in the lobby and by the pool, the latter will give you more privacy as a group and a place to hang out. “Miami has a huge range of properties to choose from depending on the party vibe and budget,” she shares. “There are high-end hotels, budget properties, suites offered by Airbnb and villas that can be rented for a weekend.”
Those looking for a memorable stay should look no further than one of the hotels in the city. There are some fun ones with a lot of character. If you are working with a higher budget Faena, a sexy hotel with daring art, is a great choice. Its Gitano lounge is a perfect jungle oasis for a large group.
Those on a budget can find a lively poolside party scene at the South West Beach or the Nautile by Arlo. Some hotels even offer bachelorette party packages. At South Shelborne Beach, for example, hen parties that book the cabin package receive premium vodka, tequila, whiskey or gin, a fruit plate, Pellegrino waters, and red bull.
If you don’t have a lot of money to spend, but still want to stay somewhere fancy, book your trip for July and August, which are the slowest months in Miami.
Where to eat in Miami
Whatever you’re looking for, you can probably find it in Miami. From delicious brunches to glamorous dinner destinations to bars specializing in craft cocktails, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from during your stay. There are many cafes and restaurants that also focus on juices and healthy foods.
What to do in Miami
Your weekend can be full of various activities if you wish. “Miami is a unique place because of the variety of things to do,” Cramblett suggests. “We have been able to accommodate groups who want a discreet wellness visit; groups that want to show up and party all day and all night; groups that want elegant business; and others who want a mix of it all. Art visits to parties, time at the beach, spa treatments, food and male dancers, Miami has it all. ”
Miami daytime activities
Miami is known for its non-stop party scene, and there are plenty of options for groups who want to spend the weekend letting off steam. Many South Beach hotels have poolside parties on the weekends, where DJs are playing music and drinks are served as early (and as late) as you want. Many bachelorette parties like to charter a yacht where they can drink champagne and rosé and go to beautiful places to jump in the water.
Miami may be known for its parties, but it also has a robust wellness offering, Cramblett says. For example, the Standard Spa is a great place for groups of friends who want to relax and unwind in tropical gardens. The city also offers many fun training classes, from pole dancing to rock climbing!
More adventurous groups can head to Biscayne National Park for a snorkeling excursion or to one of the city’s many dive centers to dive deep into the ocean. Those interested in art will love exploring Wynwood Walls, an urban graffiti art museum.
Nightlife in Miami
At night, head to a nightclub where cocktails are served with sparklers. Remember to book weeks (or months) in advance; this town is busy!
How to get around Miami
There are several ways to get around Miami, the easiest being by car. Ridesharing services such as Uber and Lyft are available in the city, as are taxis. Public transport is also available. Depending on where you stay in South Beach, the ocean is just steps away!
